Mini Excavator Rubber Track Size Chart by Make & Model
Browse rubber track product information.
This excavator track size chart lists every mini excavator rubber track size we currently stock at AFTparts Canada, grouped by make and the models each listing names. Use it to go from your machine model to a track size in a few seconds, then click the size to open the product page and confirm fit. If you need the theory behind the numbers, our guide to mini excavator track sizes explains the size codes, and the Excavator Tracks and Undercarriage Engineering guide covers how tracks work. This page is the quick lookup.
Excavator Track Size Chart: The Quick Answer
To use an excavator track size chart, find your machine make and model, read the matching size (width x pitch x links, in millimetres and link count), and match every part of the code, including any letter. Then confirm the fit against your old track or the product page before ordering. Width, pitch and links must all match.
How to Read the Excavator Track Size Chart
Every rubber track size is written as width x pitch x number of links, all in millimetres except the link count. For example, 300x52.5x80 means a 300 mm wide track, 52.5 mm between link centres, and 80 links around the loop. A letter after the pitch (such as N, W, B, Q or ZZ) usually marks a guide or tread variant, so two tracks with the same three numbers are not always interchangeable. Check the letter against your old track before ordering.
- Width (mm): measured across the track face.
- Pitch (mm): centre-to-centre distance between two drive lugs. It must match your sprocket; see how to measure sprocket pitch.
- Links: count the drive lugs on the inside of the track.
If the size is moulded on the inside of your old track, read it there first. Some sizes, such as 400x72.5x74, have their own explainer.

Model names below come from each product listing on our store. AFTparts tracks are aftermarket parts: they fit these machines by matching size, and they are not OEM parts from the machine makers. Click a size to see the current price and full fitment list on the product page.

Popular Sizes in This Chart
300x52.5x80
The 300x52.5Nx80 track is listed for Bobcat 231, 329, 331, 334, 425, 428, E26 and E32. Machine specs for these models are on the maker sites, for example the Bobcat E26 and Bobcat E32 pages.
400x72.5x74
The 400x72.5Wx74 track is listed for Bobcat 337, 341, 341G, 435, 435AG and 435C. Note the W suffix; a 400x72.5Nx74 version is listed separately for Komatsu PC40MR-2, PC45MR-3 and PC50FR-2.
230 mm sizes
Narrow 230 mm tracks cover micro and compact machines such as the Kubota KH012 family, Kubota KX41 models and Bobcat 320 to 324 series. Link counts vary from 33 to 66, so count carefully. For the Kubota 350x54.5x86 size, the Kubota KX040-4 page lists the machine specs, and the Kubota U17 page covers that model.
Same Width, Different Track: Common Mix-Ups
The chart shows several sizes that share a width and pitch but differ by link count, for example 300x52.5 with 74, 76, 78, 80, 82, 86, 88, 90 or 92 links. A track with too few links will not go on; too many and it sags and can derail. If tracks keep slipping off, read why an excavator track comes off during use before you buy, because worn sprockets, idlers or a bad tension cylinder can cause the problem even with the right size.
How to Measure an Old Track When the Size Has Worn Off
Park the machine on level ground, lower the blade and boom so the tracks are unloaded, and shut the engine off. Then:
- Measure straight across the track face for the width in millimetres.
- Measure from the centre of one drive lug to the centre of the next for the pitch. Measuring across several lugs and dividing gives a steadier number.
- Mark one lug with chalk and count every lug around the loop for the link count.
- Look at the guide lugs: note whether they sit in one row or are offset, because that is what the letter in the code often describes.
Write down all three numbers and a photo of the inner face. That is everything we need to check a size for you.
Machine Model or Track Size: Which to Search By?
Search by machine model when you know it and the serial range is standard; the chart above does that. Search by track size when the machine has been modified, came from another market, or the old track is not original. Size is the safer check, because one model name can cover several production runs with different tracks. When the two disagree, trust the measured size on the machine and ask us to confirm.
Safety When Changing Mini Excavator Tracks
Tension cylinders hold grease under high pressure. Release tension slowly through the valve, keep your face and hands away from the fitting, and never work under a raised machine without proper support. See OSHA's excavation safety guidance for general site safety, and follow your machine's operator manual for the track procedure.
How to Confirm Fit Before You Order
- Read the size on the inside of your old track, or measure width, pitch and links.
- Note any letter in the size code and compare it with the listing.
- Check your machine model and serial range against the product page fitment list.
- Still unsure? Send your model, serial number and old track size through our Check Fitment form and we will confirm before you order.

Excavator Track Size FAQ
Where is the size printed on a rubber track?
Most tracks have the size moulded on the inner surface or the side. If it has worn off, measure width, pitch and link count as shown above.
Can I use a wider track than the original?
Only if the machine maker allows it for your model and the pitch and link count still match. Width changes affect clearance and ground pressure, so ask us first.
Do tracks with the same numbers always interchange?
No. Guide type and tread pattern letters (N, W, B, Q, ZZ and others) can differ. Match the full code, not just the three numbers.
Are these OEM tracks?
No. They are AFTparts aftermarket rubber tracks made to fit the listed machines by size.
